TMEIC Corporation Introduces Industrial Systems Business Unit

          New team strategically unifies business units and promotes innovation.

          Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electrical Industrial Corporation of Roanoke, Virginia is pleased to announce the formation of the Industrial Systems Business Unit. This new operational unit combines two of the company's key technology segments, serving the metals and material handling industries.

          "These two business units have been core to TMEIC's success throughout the past 60 years," Declan Daly, TMEIC Industrial Systems - General Manager, said. "TMEIC is the global leader in automation and industrial drives technologies, and regularly deploys those solutions in metals and material handling scenarios worldwide. This unification will enhance existing services to those industries, while promoting cross-industry innovation through collaborative solution development."

          As a result of this powerful new combination of resources, TMEIC is better positioned to develop innovative technologies, quickly respond to industry trends and apply solutions to multiple industrial market segments around the world.
