BookDoc Partnering Siloam, Indonesia's Largest Hospital Group

BookDoc is pleased to announce its new healthcare partner in Indonesia Siloam Hospital Group which is Indonesia's largest healthcare group with over 24 hospitals.

This marks another milestone for BookDoc. Since establishing itself in October 2015, BookDoc is now operating in 4 countries and regions namely Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand and 17 cities. BookDoc has finally made entry into Indonesia which is their 5th country of interest and 20 cities.

BookDoc has partnered in Malaysia with the household names such as National Heart Center (IJN), Sime Darby Healthcare, KPJ Healthcare; in Singapore with NTUC, Thompson and Q&M Dental; in Hong Kong with Adventist Hospital, Quality Healthcare and Townhealth; in Thailand with Bumrungrad Hospital and now with the largest healthcare player in Indonesia, SiloamHospital Group.

Both parties will benefit greatly from this collaboration. BookDoc will benefit from working with one of the most reputable names in Indonesia and Siloam will gain access to BookDoc's expanding network of patients across the region.

Siloam Hospitals Group (Siloam) is Indonesia's most progressive and innovative healthcare provider that has set the benchmark for quality healthcare services in Indonesia Siloam's medical team of more than 500 general practitioners, 2,200 specialist doctors, and 9,000 nurses, allied health and support staff, offer international quality healthcare to nearly two million patients annually.

With equal access to medical care in Indonesia still a challenge, Siloam's business strategy allows its hospitals to operate on a lower cost based on economies of scale. Hence, Siloam is able to avail affordability to all socio-economic backgrounds and provide access to quality and affordable healthcare all over Indonesia. The company's vision of international quality, reach, scale, and Godly compassion establishes the platform for Siloam to respond to the dynamic social transformation in Indonesia.

Dato' Chevy Beh, Founder & CEO of BookDoc, is excited with this new collaboration. "This marks our official entry into Indonesia, our fifth market in the region. We are indeed honoured to be given the opportunities to work with Siloam Hospitals Group, the leading healthcare group in Indonesia. Since the Hamami Family invested into BookDoc last year, we have been actively seeking out business partners to replicate and adapt our business model to suit the largest economy in South East Asia." The Hamami Family is ranked one of the richest in Indonesia by Forbes, and now a strategic investor of BookDoc.

Siloam CFO Budi Legowo stated that, "Siloam is excited to enter this new partnership with BookDoc. Through it we will be able to expand the reach and scale of both our platforms while providing world class healthcare access for all local Indonesians and visitors from abroad."
