Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster ได้รับความสนใจล้นหลามที่งาน Medical Fair Thailand

          Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC) กลุ่มธุรกิจชีวการแพทย์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดรายหนึ่งของญี่ปุ่น ได้เข้าร่วมมหกรรมจัดแสดงอุปกรณ์การแพทย์ Medical Fair Thailand เป็นครั้งแรก โดยงานนี้จัดขึ้นในกรุงเทพมหานคร เมื่อวันที่ 10-12 กันยายนที่ผ่านมา

          KBIC ให้การสนับสนุนกลุ่มหุ้นส่วนธุรกิจในการพัฒนาธุรกิจของตนในต่างประเทศ และได้เข้าร่วมงาน MEDICA ซึ่งเป็นมหกรรมจัดแสดงอุปกรณ์การแพทย์ประจำปีของเยอรมนี มานับตั้งแต่ปี 2551

          เพื่อเปิดโอกาสในการจับคู่ทางธุรกิจในเอเชีย ซึ่งเป็นตลาดที่มีการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องในแวดวงการแพทย์ KBIC จึงได้จับมือเป็นพันธมิตรกับแปดบริษัทเพื่อจัดแสดงสินค้าภายในงานดังกล่าว ซึ่งมีบริษัทอื่นๆจากทั่วเอเชียเข้าร่วมงานมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ ไต้หวัน และสิงคโปร์

          ตัวแทนจาก KBIC กล่าวถึงการจัดแสดงครั้งนี้ว่า "เนื่องจากมีผู้เยี่ยมชมบูธของเราถึงราว 1,200 คน และการประชุมทางธุรกิจเกือบ 400 เซสชัน เราจึงมีความมั่นใจว่า การเข้าร่วมงานจัดแสดงสินค้าครั้งนี้ จะช่วยสนับสนุนการพัฒนาของบรรดาธุรกิจที่ร่วมจัดแสดงสินค้าและเทคโนโลยีภายในงาน เรามีความตั้งใจที่จะเข้าร่วมงานแสดงสินค้าในต่างประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมให้การสนับสนุนบริษัทที่เป็นสมาชิกของ Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster"

Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster Booth Draws Crowd at Medical Fair Thailand

          The Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC), one of Japan's largest biomedical clusters, took part for the first time in the medical device exhibition Medical Fair Thailand, held in Bangkok from September 10 to September 12.

          The Cluster proactively supports its business partners in overseas business development, and has taken part in the annual German medical device exhibition MEDICA since 2008.

          To provide business-matching opportunities in Asia, a market enjoying continuing growth in the medical field, the KBIC partnered with eight companies to exhibit at the fair. Other companies from around Asia such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore also participated.

          A KBIC representative commented on the exhibition, saying, "With around 1,200 people visiting our booth and nearly 400 business sessions, we are confident that taking part in the exhibition contributed to the development of the businesses which displayed their products and technologies. We are determined to continue proactively taking part in exhibitions abroad and providing support to companies in the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster."

          The KBIC is looking forward to expanding its operations even further and inviting interested parties to get in touch.

       Eight companies from the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster in Hyogo Prefecture will be taking part in Medical Fair Thailand, Asia's largest medical device exhibition.

          The City of Kobe started the "Kobe Medical Industry Development Project" (now called the "Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster" or KBIC) as one of the earthquake restoration projects to recover the economy of Kobe, which was severely damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake on January 17, 1995.

          Recognising anew the "importance of life," the City of Kobe was determined to promote a new industry that would protect the lives of citizens and contribute to international society. Now, state-of-the-art research institutions such as RIKEN and the K computer have gathered in the Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster to form one of the largest biomedical clusters in Japan. KBIC's activities include basic research to clinical applications and industrialization (practical application, commercialization, and expansion of sales channels) related to a variety of themes including treatment, diagnosis, prevention, caregiving, welfare and others in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, regenerative medicine and more.
