ThoughtWorks Announces First Female Head of Technology for Southeast Asia and Takes Home Gold at Asia Recruitment Awards

          ThoughtWorks Singapore honoured for best-in-class recruitment and talent management practices

           ThoughtWorks , a global software development and digital transformation consultancy, today announced  Thao Dang has been named Head of Technology for Southeast Asia.

          Ms Dang, with 11 years of tech consulting experience, will lead the Singapore office in building the technology strategy and direction, capability engine, and engaging with the technology community and clients. She has spent the past five years as a developer and team lead at ThoughtWorks, and is passionate about supporting clients in bringing technology to the core of their business, data-driven digital transformation, and software design and delivery.

          Ms. Dang said, "I am excited to take on this role, and leverage my passion and skills to drive technology innovation and skills development within ThoughtWorks Singapore. As part of a company of purpose-led technologists, I will be exploring avenues for ThoughtWorks to contribute to the local tech ecosystem and pioneer more partnerships across the public and private sectors. I also hope to continue encouraging young female technologists to aspire to leadership positions in tech and grow their careers in this exciting industry."

          The new appointment comes at a time of significant growth and opportunity for ThoughtWorks, having celebrated six years in Singapore.
