Since 2009 the WISE Awards have identified and promoted 48 projects around the world for their innovative and transformative impact. Past winning projects have addressed a wide range of concerns and pursuits, including access to quality education, life-long learning opportunities, and education in emergency contexts.
Every year, recipients of the WISE Awards join a network of other successful and pioneering projects, gaining global visibility and opportunities to collaborate through various platforms, including the Summit, WISE communications and publications. Projects are celebrated at the Summit and at other WISE events. They also receive $20,000 (US). In bringing forward these models, WISE contributes to building a network of recognized change-makers to inspire transformation and innovation in education.
