Rail+Metro China 2017 Will be Inaugurated in November 2017 in Shanghai

          The 2017 China International Rail Transit Exhibition (Rail+Metro China 2017) that is produced by China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, Shanghai Shentong Metro Group and Shanghai Intex Exhibition Company will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on November 21-23, 2017.

          Under the strong support of the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, the China Academy of Transportation Sciences and the CIPA Railway Industry International Cooperation Committee, Rail+Metro China has become one of the largest platform for trade procurement and brand augmentation in rail transit industry in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

          The statistic shows that in October 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has approved seven transport infrastructure projects with the total investment has more than 290 billion yuan. This year the NDRC and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued the <Three-Year Action Plan for Major Infrastructure Construction Projects> that proposed between the year of 2016 and 2018, will promote 303 projects that relate to infrastructures, involving total investment of about 4.7 trillion yuan, of which the investment in railway and urban rail transit is 2 trillion yuan and 1.6 trillion yuan respectively, accounting for 76.6% of the total investment. Rail transit construction and investment will usher in the peak in 2017.

          Rail+Metro China 2016 has attracted more than 200 companies from 13 countries and regions worldwide, spanning 20,000sqm. 21,538 visitors have attended to the show. Domestic buyer delegations were from 30 cities and regions, they are public transportation units, urban rail transit proprietors, design and planning institutes, research and consulting organizations, colleges and universities.

          Rail+Metro China 2017 will continue to showcase the latest products and technologies of 'rail vehicles and components', 'signal, communication and IT technology', 'traction power supply and drive devices', 'maintenance and repair equipment', 'planning and consulting services' and 'infrastructure and tunnel engineering facilities'. More than 10 conferences and workshops will take place in conjunction, themes are covering 'rail transit investment and financing mode', 'big-data and informationization', 'operation and management', 'vibration and noise control', and 'diversified rail transit application'.
