JA Solar Signed Supply Contract to Provide Modules for a 257MW Project in Vietnam
JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd., a world-leading manufacturer of high-performance solar power products, announced that it entered into an agreement with Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co. Ltd (SEPEC), a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group, to supply high-efficiency mono PERC modules for a 257MW project in Phu Yen, Vietnam.
The project is contracted by SEPEC and developed by B. GRIMM, a multi-business corporation actively engaged in the field of energy. The project is of great importance for the development of the renewable energy market in Vietnam as well as other Southeast Asian countries.
In the signing ceremony, Mr. Jiping Chen, President of SEPEC, showed his appreciation for JA Solar, "JA Solar takes a leading position in the R&D and production of high-performance PV products. We are confident that JA's high-efficiency modules and well-established global sales network will enable project success. With growing energy demand, limited domestic fossil fuel reserves and abundant solar sources, Vietnam is well-positioned to develop and grow its PV industry. However, the country is located in a region under extreme environmental conditions of year-round high temperature and high humidity. This poses stringent requirements for solar module performance, in which only PV products with superior quality can perform well. JA Solar's modules pass rigorous long-term reliability and environmental adaptability tests, and maintain a high-efficiency and stable power output on a long-term basis. As a result, the JA Solar brand is well recognized in the marketplace, and over time, the Company has significantly grown its business across the country.

ผังจัดงานใหม่
หนึ่งในลักษณะเด่นที่ทำให้ CIFF แตกต่างอย่างปฏิเสธไม่ได้ก็คือ การนำเสนอห่วงโซ่อุปทานทั้งหมดของอุตสาหกรรมเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ตั้งแต่เครื่องใช้ในบ้าน ของตกแต่งบ้านและเคหะสิ่งทอ เฟอร์นิเจอร์สำหรับใช้งานกลางแจ้งและเฟอร์นิเจอร์สำนักงาน จนถึงงาน CIFM/interzum guangzhou ซึ่งเป็นงานจัดแสดงอุปกรณ์และเครื่องจักร

ทั้งนี้ เพื่อยกระดับความเป็นสากล จึงได้มีการอุทิศพื้นที่จัดแสดงให้กับสินค้านำเข้าระดับไฮเอนด์ถึงสามห้อง ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ 90,000 ตารางเมตร เพื่อนำเสนอเฟอร์นิเจอร์ชั้นยอดที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของตลาดในประเทศจีน ซึ่งมองหาคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นอยู่เสมอ
โดยใน Hall 1.1 จะเป็นส่วนการออกแบบและสั่งทำเฟอร์นิเจอร์แบบพิเศษ (Design & Exclusive Custom Furniture) ซึ่งจะประกอบไปด้วยเฟอร์นิเจอร์แบรนด์ดีไซเนอร์ เฟอร์นิเจอร์ไฮเอนด์ เฟอร์นิเจอร์ที่สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบได้ และเฟอร์นิเจอร์ที่ผลิตตามความต้องการของลูกค้า
ส่วน Pavillion 2.1 ได้แก่ Design Hall ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับบริษัทชั้นนำขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งมีการออกแบบที่มีเสน่ห์เต็มไปด้วยเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว
ทางด้านบริษัทที่นำเสนอเฟอร์นิเจอร์สั่งทำและโซลูชั่นสมาร์ทโฮม จะอยู่ที่ Hall 6.1, 7.1 และ 8.1
Pavilion 15.2 จะเป็นส่วนของผู้เข้าชมงานจากทั่วโลก โดยมีการจัดแสดงอุปกรณ์เสริมตกแต่งบ้านและสิ่งทอ ขณะที่แบรนด์ไฟส่องสว่างจะอยู่ในส่วน Pavilion 16.2
ในส่วนของเฟอร์นิเจอร์สำหรับใช้งานกลางแจ้งและสันทนาการจะมีการจัดแสดงผ่านหลากหลายอีเวนต์และกิจกรรม เช่น การประกวดออกแบบระเบียง การจัดสวน ใน Area D ของอาคารจัดแสดง
ทางด้านแผนผังงานแสดงสำหรับงานช่วงที่สองนั้น ไฮไลต์อยู่ที่ส่วนจัดแสดง Office Show ซึ่งมีการขยายพื้นที่และปรับให้เหมาะสมยิ่งขึ้น โดยในศูนประชุมและแสดงสินค้าNanfung International Convention & Exhibition Centre ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับ Canton Fair Complex จะถูกใช้เป็นพื้นที่ Area E ของงาน CIFF ซึ่งยกพื้นที่ส่วนนี้ให้กับสมาร์ทออฟฟิศ พร้อมรองรับผลิตภัณฑ์สำหรับโซลูชั่นอัจฉริยะ
นอกจากนี้ยังมีงาน CIFM/interzum guangzhou ซึ่งจะจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ เพื่อทำให้งานนี้เป็นงานมหกรรมระดับสูงที่สุดสำหรับมืออาชีพในวงการวัสดุและเทคโนโลยีที่ใช้ในการผลิตเฟอร์นิเจอร์
อีเวนต์ที่ได้รับการยกระดับ

สำหรับงาน Ten Degree Parallel Space Exhibition นั้น เกิดจากความร่วมมือระหว่าง CIFF, home.163.com, นักออกแบบแถวหน้า 10 คน และบริษัทตกแต่งบ้านที่มีชื่อเสียง 10 แห่ง เพื่อการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ที่หลากหลายในแวดวงการออกแบบ ผู้เข้าชมงานจะสามารถติดตามแผนที่นิทรรศการ ที่จะชูไฮไลต์ช่วงเวลาน่าตื่นเต้นที่สุด 10 เหตุการณ์ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจไลฟ์สไตล์ทุกรูปแบบ
ขณะที่ Design Dream Show จะนำเสนอแบรนด์เฟอร์นิเจอร์แบบดั้งเดิมในแนวทางที่แปลกใหม่และสร้างสรรค์ ที่รวมไว้ทั้งแบรนด์ของดีไซเนอร์ชื่อดังและแบรนด์ออนไลน์น้องใหม่ โดยมุ่งเน้นให้ความสำคัญในเรื่องสาธารณะสงเคราะห์ การออกแบบและการตลาดที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยใช้เทคโนโลยี เพื่อสร้างสรรค์พื้นที่ภายในบ้าน ด้วยการฉายภาพโฮโลแกรม

OUE 'Stars of Christmas' Marks 9th Year of Bringing Christmas Cheer to Beneficiaries of Children's Aid Societies
Stars of Christmas, an annual community programme championed by OUE Limited (SGX-ST: "OUE") together with Meritus Hotels & Resorts, Mandarin Orchard Singapore, and Marina Mandarin Singapore, is now in its ninth year of bringing Christmas cheer to beneficiaries of non-profit organisations providing programmes and services to underprivileged children, and those with special needs and illnesses.
The three-part programme commenced this year with the ceremonial hanging of Christmas stars at the lobby of Mandarin Orchard Singapore on 21 November, led by OUE Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director, Mr Thio Gim Hock. Stars bearing beneficiaries' information such as age and gender will adorn the Christmas trees at Mandarin Orchard Singapore, Marina Mandarin Singapore, and Downtown Gallery. Stars of Christmas is open to all, and aims to deliver Christmas presents to upwards of 1,500 beneficiaries this year.
The three-part programme commenced this year with the ceremonial hanging of Christmas stars at the lobby of Mandarin Orchard Singapore on 21 November, led by OUE Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director, Mr Thio Gim Hock. Stars bearing beneficiaries' information such as age and gender will adorn the Christmas trees at Mandarin Orchard Singapore, Marina Mandarin Singapore, and Downtown Gallery. Members of the public who wish to contribute to the programme may then pick as many stars as they choose and purchase presents guided by the information indicated on the stars. All donated presents are to be dropped off at designated collection points no later than 17 December.
On 14 December, beneficiaries of Stars of Christmas 2018 along with their parents, siblings, and caregivers will be guests of honour at a special Christmas luncheon hosted by OUE Executive Chairman, Dr Stephen Riady. The children will be joined by employees of OUE and its affiliate companies for an afternoon of festive treats and entertainment at Mandarin Orchard Singapore, ending on a merry note with a visit from Santa who will be giving out Christmas presents.

Medical Device Manufacturers Are Encouraged To "Switch Suppliers and Save"
Zeus Industrial Products, Inc. (Zeus), a leading polymer extrusion manufacturer and material science innovator, launched a first-of-its-kind program that appeals to medical device manufacturers who are using peelable heat shrink tubing and etched liners from competing suppliers. The "Switch Suppliers and Save" program provides an opportunity to try Zeus heat shrink products at no cost.
Zeus' FluoroPEELZ(R) peelable heat shrink is the featured product in the "Switch Suppliers and Save" program, offering the highest clarity - a result of patented technology developed by Zeus. Innovation Center Alliance Marks a Renewed Promise to the Industry

Vistra 2020 Report: Realising the Opportunities in a Disruptive Corporate Services Industry
Vistra, a leading global trust, fund administration and corporate services provider, today released the eighth edition of its Vistra 2020 industry research report. The report reveals that the corporate services industry has never been so vital in underpinning globalisation, from the facilitation of cross border capital flows, to the provision of local compliance, legal and regulatory expertise to companies and individuals wishing to do business cross border.
"As the industry responds to geopolitical upheaval, as businesses and jurisdictions come to terms with the convergence of new regulatory frameworks, coupled with new technologies, the corporate services industry is rich with both challenges and opportunities," said Jonathon Clifton, Regional Managing Director, Asia and Middle East, Vistra. "In this environment, our strong view is that the global financial system is dependent on the corporate services industry in providing the infrastructure to enable global economic development."
Drawing on the insight of some 800 industry figures, this year's Vistra 2020 report identified three important trends that are defining today's corporate services industry:
Changing sector to meet evolving geopolitical system
- Ongoing adjustment to globalisation has created political pressure for governments to reassert their role in establishing rules for business. However, this hasn't stopped businesses from becoming more international in their outlook and ambitions. Developments in the global economy (53%) along with changing regulation (62%) are seen as the most pressing challenges by a majority of respondents and are expected to have a major impact on business.
- Despite understandable caution about the challenges ahead, industry professionals are broadly upbeat in their ability to generate growth and satisfy client demand. 83% are confident in their ability to satisfy clients' expectations; 74% are confident in their own organisation's growth prospects.
Increasingly politicised regulations
In recent years, the corporate services industry has been subject to an extraordinary amount of regulatory change, which creates business opportunities to the industry that thrives on helping clients navigate a difficult landscape. Majority of the respondents (74%) are ramping up their investments in compliance and, as a result, will be able to demonstrate that they and their clients have nothing to hide, whether moving money across borders or establishing trading companies in new jurisdictions.
- 78% are confident in their ability to achieve timely and consistent compliance with new regulations, even though similar proportions (73%) admit that the speed and frequency of change is a challenge.
- 85% expect the political pressure that has forced greater scrutiny of tax and financial data to continue unabated, even though the clear majority (76%) believe that governments have underestimated the challenge that automatic exchange of information places on their business.
Unmet value and threat of new technology
Technological innovation is making impacts everywhere and the corporate services industry is no exception. With applications such as robo-advisory and biometrics pushing at the door - all of which could have transformational implications for the industry - businesses may be too relaxed.
- Although majority of the respondents (78%) are upbeat about the prospects of technology delivering efficiency savings, only 20% of industry professionals expect technological change to have a notable impact on their business, showing complacency.
- Today, the focus for many in the industry is firmly on bread-and-butter issues such as automating "know your customer" and anti-money laundering requirements, rather than on more exotic technologies such as AI and blockchain. Only 22% is looking into blockchain, which is relatively low considering the potential upheaval that crypto-currencies could create in the industry.
Senior executives from Vistra outlined five predictions for the coming year:
- The tech wake-up call: The industry has yet to feel the force of technological disruption. If they are not careful, they may soon find themselves scrabbling to catch up, or fighting for survival.
- Politicised regulation will continue in the short term: It is likely that governments will continue to target the industry with crowd-pleasing transparency drives, at least in the short term.
