Furthermore, at the main forum, the Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration Bureau made an announcement calling for a collection of the physical exhibits for the Nanfan Museum that is now under construction. ETS เตรียมเปิดสอบ GRE แบบใหม่ ใช้เวลาน้อยลงครึ่งหนึ่ง ตั้งแต่เดือนกันยายนเป็นต้นไป

 การสอบ GRE ยังคงเป็นการวัดความพร้อมในการศึกษาต่อระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาที่ใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลายที่สุด

อีทีเอส (ETS) องค์กรประเมินและวัดผลการศึกษาชั้นนำ ประกาศว่า นับตั้งแต่เดือนกันยายนเป็นต้นไป การสอบ GRE General Test จะใช้เวลาไม่ถึง 2 ชั่วโมงในการทำข้อสอบ หรือลดลงราวครึ่งหนึ่งจากการสอบในปัจจุบัน ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้ GRE General Test เป็นการสอบที่ใช้เวลาน้อยที่สุดและมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดในบรรดาการสอบเพื่อเข้าศึกษาต่อในหลักสูตรวิชาชีพ ธุรกิจ และกฎหมาย แม้ว่าการสอบจะใช้เวลาน้อยลง แต่ผู้สอบและสถาบันการศึกษาจะยังคงได้รับคะแนนที่ถูกต้องและเชื่อถือได้เช่นเดียวกับที่เคยได้รับจากอีทีเอสเสมอมา ทั้งนี้ การสอบ GRE แบบใหม่เปิดให้ลงทะเบียนแล้ว และจะเริ่มสอบตั้งแต่วันที่ 22 กันยายน 2566 เป็นต้นไป

การสอบมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงดังนี้

• ลดจำนวนคำถามในส่วนคณิตศาสตร์ (Quantitative Reasoning) และภาษาอังกฤษ (Verbal Reasoning)
• ยกเลิกส่วนที่ไม่มีการให้คะแนน

นอกจากจะใช้เวลาทำข้อสอบน้อยลงแล้ว ผู้สอบยังได้รับคะแนนอย่างเป็นทางการเร็วขึ้นอย่างมากภายใน 8-10 วันเท่านั้น และในอนาคตจะมีการปรับปรุงการสอบ GRE General Test ในอีกหลาย ๆ ด้าน ซึ่งทั้งหมดนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อให้ผู้สอบได้รับประสบการณ์ที่ดีขึ้น โดยช่วยให้ผู้สอบไม่เสียเวลาอันมีค่า รวมถึงรู้สึกวิตกกังวลและเหนื่อยล้ามากเกินไป

การสอบ GRE ยังคงเป็นการวัดความพร้อมในการศึกษาต่อระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาที่ถูกต้อง เชื่อถือได้ และปลอดภัยมากที่สุดในโลก เพียงแค่ใช้เวลาสอบน้อยลงเท่านั้น ส่วนการให้คะแนนยังคงเหมือนเดิม ทำให้หลักสูตรระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาต่าง ๆ สามารถเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของผู้สมัครเรียนทั้งก่อนและหลังเดือนกันยายน 2566 ได้อย่างง่ายดาย

Shortened GRE Test Coming September 2023

Now in half the time, GRE remains the most widely used measure of graduate readiness

Today, ETS announced that beginning this September, the GRE General Test will take less than two hours to complete - roughly half the time of the current test. This makes the GRE General Test the shortest and most efficient test among top professional, business and law school admissions test options. The shorter GRE test will continue to provide test takers and institutions with the same valid and reliable scores they have always counted on from ETS. Registration for the shorter test is now open for test dates beginning September 22, 2023.

Changes to the test include:

• Removal of the "Analyze an Argument" task in the Analytical Writing section
• Reduced number of questions in the Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning sections
• Removal of the unscored section

In addition to test changes, test takers can expect to receive their official scores much faster, in just 8-10 days. These changes mark the first of several planned future updates to the GRE General Test, all of which are intended to provide test takers with a better experience that values their time and reduces anxiety and fatigue.

"The changes we're announcing today underscore the emphasis we place on keeping our customers at the center of all that we do," said ETS CEO Amit Sevak. "As we continue to introduce product innovations, we're committed to balancing two things - maintaining rigor and validity, while improving the test-taker experience."

Beginning in September, test takers can access official GRE test prep resources and practice tests designed for the newer streamlined test. Since the shorter test has the same question types (except for the removal of the Analytical Writing "Analyze an Argument" essay), test takers can continue to use the existing Official GRE Prep materials.

The GRE will continue to be the most valid, reliable and secure assessment of graduate readiness in the world, just in less time. The score scales will also remain the same, allowing graduate programs to easily compare performance across cohorts before and after September 2023.

Concept Medical's fourth IDE approval for the MagicTouch Sirolimus Coated Balloon is granted for the treatment of Superficial Femoral Artery Disease (SFA)

The US FDA, on the 24^th of May 2023, granted an Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) approval for Concept Medical Inc's Sirolimus Coated Balloon (SCB) MagicTouch PTA for the treatment of Superficial Femoral Arteries (SFA). This marks the fourth IDE approval for the Company's Sirolimus coated balloon.

The Company has already received three other pivotal IDE approvals for its SCB MagicTouch family of products for the coronary In-Stent Restenosis (ISR), Coronary Small Vessel and Below-the-Knee indications.

Lower extremity Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) affects an estimated quarter million adults in Europe and North America and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality, with atherosclerosis being the main cause. Stenosed and occluded SFA remain major contributors to the PAD.

The IDE approval will allow Concept Medical to initiate pivotal clinical study to demonstrate safety and effectiveness of the MagicTouch PTA Sirolimus coated balloon in femoral and popliteal segments. The data generated from this IDE clinical study will support a future pre-market approval (PMA) application in the USA.

MagicTouch PTA is the world's first Sirolimus coated balloon with extensive commercial usage in Europe, major markets of Asia and the Mid-Eastern markets. China South Publishing & Media Group and Times Publishing Limited enter a strategic partnership to facilitate cultural exchanges between China and Singapore

 

In the afternoon of May 28, 2023, China South Publishing & Media Group (CNS) and Times Publishing Limited (TPL) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony at the China Cultural Centre in Singapore, opening a new chapter in the collaboration between China and Singapore and facilitating cultural exchanges between two organisations.

The MoU signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Siew Peng Yim, CEO, TPL, and signed by Mr. Yeoh Cheng Poh, Head of Education, Marshall Cavendish Education (MCE) and Ms. Li Hui, Vice Chairman of Hunan Publishing Investment (HPI) Holding Group Co., Ltd., and Mr. Wang Dou, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of China South Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd., senior leaders from TPL, MCE, HPI and CNS were also present at the event.
