- Kanosei Art Project by TOPPAN Group ("kanosei" means "possibilities" in Japanese)

It is a project launched by TOPPAN Group, a leading Japanese printing company, to promote works that disabled artists create under the theme of "infinite possibilities and talents." Part of the accommodation charges paid by those who stay at guestrooms set aside for this project is donated to the Borderless Art Organization and artists with disabilities to support their activities.

- KOKUYO

KOKUYODOORS, a shop operated by major Japanese stationery company KOKUYO, oversaw the design and layout of the rooms. It is the first time that a hotel has collaborated with the stationery company in such a way.

- LINE FRIENDS

Zambia External Bondholder Steering Committee Reaches Agreement with Zambia on Debt Restructuring

          The Zambia External Bondholder Steering Committee (the "Committee") is pleased to announce that it has reached a conclusive agreement (the "2024 Agreement") with the Government of Zambia (the "Government") on a restructuring of Zambia's (i) US$750,000,000 5.375 per cent. Notes due 2022, (ii) US$1,000,000,000 8.500 per cent. Notes due 2024 and (iii) US$1,250,000,000 8.970 per cent. Amortising Notes due 2027 (collectively the "Eurobonds").

          This agreement follows the Government's confirmation that the terms of the 2024 Agreement are compatible with Zambia's Official Creditor Committee (the "OCC") assessment of comparability of treatment and the IMF's program parameters under the Second Review framework.
          Since November 2023 when the OCC determined that the previous agreement-in-principle reached with the Government (the "November 2023 AIP") did not meet the requirements of the comparability of treatment provisions set out in the memorandum of understanding ("MOU"), the Committee has continued to support the Government's efforts to pursue a restructuring on terms close to those of the November 2023 AIP, recognising that some adjustments were required as that agreement was predicated on implementation of a restructuring before 31 December 2023.
          While the 2024 Agreement provides some further debt relief beyond that provided for in the November 2023 AIP, these additional concessions will allow for the-standing default on the Eurobonds to be cured, will support the restoration of Zambia's macro-economic and debt sustainability in the context of the IMF-financed program, and were required to ensure the support of all key stakeholders including the IMF and the OCC in a timely manner. Prompt implementation of a debt restructuring agreement with bondholders is not only in Zambia's interests, but the wider creditor community as a whole.
          The proposed restructuring terms set out in the 2024 Agreement are based on the same structure as the November 2023 AIP. Two new Eurobonds (further described as Bond A and Bond B in the Government's press release) will be issued which provide future debt relief commensurate with Zambia's economic progress in the next few years. While the 2024 Agreement requires both additional debt reduction and net present value relief compared to the restructuring terms agreed pursuant to the November 2023 AIP, it also includes enhanced repayment terms and higher coupons on Bond B, in the event that Zambia's debt carrying capacity, as assessed by the IMF and World Bank's Composite Indicator, moves to medium from weak or Zambia continues to meet or exceeds current IMF projections as measured by exports of goods, services and fiscal revenues measured in US Dollars. The 2024 Agreement also includes agreement on certain non-financial terms, including a most favoured creditor clause that will ensure that certain other creditors do not receive a better recovery in the restructuring on net present value terms, a loss reinstatement clause if Zambia were to default during the term of the IMF program, and certain ongoing information covenants for Zambia.
          The Committee appreciates the collaborative and transparent discussions with the Government that have allowed for this conclusive agreement to be reached.
          A spokesperson on behalf of the Committee said: "We are pleased to have finally reached a definitive and conclusive agreement with the Government that is supported by all stakeholders and which will, in due course, restore full international capital markets access to Zambia and encourage long-term investment in the country, to the benefit of all Zambians."
          The key elements of the 2024 Agreement are contained in the Government's press release. Implementation of the 2024 Agreement is conditional on mutual agreement on deal documentation, and the objective is to fully implement the agreement as promptly as feasible.
          The Committee encourages all holders of the Eurobonds to carefully consider the terms of the Government's prospective offer in relation to the 2024 Agreement and to make their own independent appraisal of the merits and risks of participation.

Chiba Prefectural Government to Accept Entries for "Chiba Aqualine Marathon 2024" -- Spectacular Courses Crossing Tokyo Bay

          "Chiba Aqualine Marathon 2024," organized by the Chiba Prefectural Government, is a long-distance race scheduled for November 10 (Sunday), 2024. The event, featuring running routes across the "Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line," also known as the Trans-Tokyo Bay Expressway, offers two courses -- a full marathon and a half-marathon.

 ไชน่า อีสเทิร์น แอร์ไลน์ส รองรับผู้โดยสารเกือบ 16.5 ล้านคนในมหกรรมเดินทางเทศกาลตรุษจีน

          ในช่วงมหกรรมการเดินทางเทศกาลตรุษจีนปี 2567 ที่กินเวลานาน 40 วัน จนถึงวันที่ 5 มีนาคมที่ผ่านมา สายการบินไชน่า อีสเทิร์น แอร์ไลน์ส (China Eastern Airlines) ร่วมด้วยสายการบินในเครือ ได้แก่ เซี่ยงไฮ้ แอร์ไลน์ส (Shanghai Airlines) และไชน่า ยูไนเต็ด แอร์ไลน์ส (China United Airlines) ได้ให้บริการเที่ยวบินรวมกว่า 106,800 ครั้ง นำพาผู้โดยสารไปสู่จุดหมายปลายทางรวมเกือบ 16.5 ล้านคน โดยมีอัตราส่วนการขนส่งผู้โดยสารเฉลี่ยมากกว่า 82%
          ข้อมูลสถิติจากสายการบินไชน่า อีสเทิร์น แอร์ไลน์ส ระบุว่า ทางสายการบินรองรับผู้โดยสารเฉลี่ยมากกว่า 412,400 คนต่อวันในช่วงมหกรรมการเดินทางเทศกาลตรุษจีน โดยยอดสูงสุดอยู่ในช่วงวันที่ 14-16 กุมภาพันธ์ ซึ่งจำนวนผู้โดยสารทะลุ 480,000 คนต่อวันทั้งสามวัน
          ในฐานะสายการบินรายใหญ่ที่สุดในเซี่ยงไฮ้ สายการบินไชน่า อีสเทิร์น แอร์ไลน์ส ได้ให้บริการเที่ยวบินขาเข้าและขาออก ณ ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติเซี่ยงไฮ้หงเฉียวและท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติเซี่ยงไฮ้ผู่ตงรวมกันกว่า 44,000 เที่ยวในช่วงมหกรรมการเดินทางเทศกาลตรุษจีน โดยรองรับผู้โดยสารมากกว่า 6.85 ล้านคน ซึ่งรวมถึงผู้โดยสารแวะพักเครื่องระหว่างทางกว่า 530,000 คน และผู้โดยสารเด็กเดินทางลำพังกว่า 4,000 คน
          "การท่องเที่ยวต่างประเทศ" ได้กลายเป็นคำที่พบเห็นมากเป็นอันดับต้น ๆ ในมหกรรมการเดินทางเทศกาลตรุษจีนปีนี้ โดยไชน่า อีสเทิร์น แอร์ไลน์ส ได้รับประโยชน์จากปัจจัยเอื้ออำนวยต่าง ๆ เช่น นโยบายฟรีวีซ่า ส่งผลให้เที่ยวบินของทางสายการบินฯ ไปยังเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้และเที่ยวบินระหว่างจีนกับอิตาลียังคงเป็นที่นิยม
          สำหรับจุดหมายปลายทางที่มาแรงนั้น มาเลเซีย สิงคโปร์ และไทย มีจำนวนผู้โดยสารหลั่งไหลเข้ามาเป็นจำนวนมากหลังประกาศใช้นโยบายฟรีวีซ่า
          ในช่วงสองเดือนแรกของปีนี้ เที่ยวบินของไชน่า อีสเทิร์น แอร์ไลน์ส ไปยังมาเลเซียมีอัตราส่วนการขนส่งผู้โดยสารเฉลี่ย 82.7% ในขณะเดียวกัน ปริมาณผู้โดยสารบนเที่ยวบินระหว่างจีนกับอิตาลีก็เพิ่มขึ้นถึง 62% เมื่อเทียบกับช่วงเดียวกันของปีก่อนหน้า

China Eastern Airlines carries nearly 16.5 million passengers during Spring Festival travel rush

          The 2024 Spring Festival travel rush that lasted some 40 days came to an end on March 5. China Eastern Airlines, along with its subsidiaries Shanghai Airlines and China United Airlines, operated a total of 106,800 passenger flights, transporting nearly 16.5 million passengers, with an average load factor exceeding 82%.
          According to statistics released by China Eastern Airlines, the airline carried an average of more than 412,400 passengers on a daily basis during the Spring Festival travel rush, with the peak period occurring from Feb. 14 to 16, during which the daily passenger volume exceeded 480,000 for each of those three days.
          As the largest home based airline in Shanghai, China Eastern Airlines facilitated over 44,000 arriving and departing flights at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport during the Spring Festival travel rush. The airline served over 6.85 million passengers, including more than 530,000 transit passengers and over 4,000 unaccompanied minors.
          "Outbound travel" became one of the key words for this year's Spring Festival travel rush. Benefiting from favorable factors such as the implementation of visa-free policies, China Eastern Airlines' flights to Southeast Asia and between China and Italy remained popular. 
          In particular, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand saw a large influx of passengers after relevant visa-free policies were implemented.
          In the first two months of this year, China Eastern Airlines' flights to Malaysia had an average load factor of 82.7%. Meanwhile, the passenger volume on flights between China and Italy saw a year-on-year increase of 62%.
          Furthermore, China Eastern Airlines' industry-leading "full-journey online" in-flight Wi-Fi service also experienced a peak in usage during this year's Spring Festival travel rush. Statistics show that during the travel rush, the airlines' in-flight Wi-Fi service was provided on 10,787 wide-body aircraft flights, used by over 540,000 passengers.
