UnionPay Offers Secure and Convenient Payment Service for Chinese Students Studying Abroad

          As the new semester begins, Chinese students who study overseas are going abroad. It is learnt that over 2,000 educational institutions outside mainland China accept UnionPay cards for tuition payment, and UnionPay payment service system has covered all aspects of students' daily study and life in major destinations.

          Convenient payment in major study destinations

          Now, 18 million merchants and 1.3 million ATMs in 160 countries and regions accept UnionPay cards. Over 300,000 POS terminals in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, Singapore, and Korea support UnionPay mobile QuickPass, enabling students to pay with smartphones.

          The US is students' first choice for overseas study. UnionPay credit cards are accepted at the campus bookstores in over 20 top colleges and universities. Almost all the local ATMs accept UnionPay cards, and 80% of the local merchants accept UnionPay credit cards. Students can pay with UnionPay cards at websites like Amazon and eBay. Some merchants, like B&H, provide exclusive privileges for students.

          In Australia, UnionPay cards are accepted at 80% of ATMs and 65% of merchants, and over half of these merchants accept UnionPay mobile QuickPass. About 400 local institutions accept UnionPay cards offline.

          With more Chinese students studying in the UK, most ATMs there accept UnionPay cards. Sixteen intuitions accept UnionPay cards to pay for tuition and accommodation. UnionPay cards are also accepted at the Student Service Centers, student dormitories and campus libraries.

          UnionPay cards save the trouble of carrying cash and exchanging foreign currencies. Students can apply for UnionPay cards in 40 countries and regions to enjoy payment convenience and exclusive privileges.

          Convenient cross-border online tuition payment

          Students can also pay tuition online with UnionPay cards. First, via tuition payment platforms, such as peerTransfer (over 900 institutions), Western Union (over 400 institutions), and the five tuition payment platforms of Taiwan banks (95 institutions in all). Second, via the payment page at the institution's official website, including the over 700 schools covered by TMS and TouchNet, and universities in Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

Generally, the funds are credited into the account within three working days without any currency conversion fees, and UnionPay online payment comprehensively ensures payment security.           Greyrock ประกาศว่า เทคโนโลยี Direct Fuel Production(TM) (DFP) ที่บริษัทคิดค้นขึ้นเองนั้น ได้รับการยกย่องจากโครงการ Global Gas Flaring Reduction Partnership (GGFR) ของธนาคารโลก ในฐานะเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยที่สุดในการเปลี่ยนก๊าซที่ระบายออกจากระบบหรือแฟลร์ก๊าซ (Flare Gas) ให้เป็นเชื้อเพลิงสำหรับการขนส่งคุณภาพระดับพรีเมียม

Greyrock Direct Fuel Production(TM) Recognized by the World Bank as Most Advanced Technology for Gas-to-Liquids

         Greyrock announced today that the company's Direct Fuel Production(TM) (DFP) technology has been recognized by the World Bank's Global Gas Flaring Reduction Partnership (GGFR) as the most advanced technology for converting flare gas into premium transportation fuels.

          Greyrock's patented DFP technology converts renewable or waste feedstocks first into syngas and then directly into premium transportation fuels.  Unlike traditional "Fischer-Tropsch" technologies, Greyrock's DFP does not produce "hydrocarbon wax" which requires expensive and complex refining processes to produce fuels.  Greyrock's DFP technology enables simple deployment of gas-to-liquids (GTL), biomass-to-liquids (BTL) and waste-to-liquids (WTL) projects with dramatically reduced capital and operating costs.

          For more than 5 years, the World Bank GGFR has explored and evaluated the development of modular gas-to-liquids (GTL) technologies for the elimination and monetization of gas flares around the world.

          The latest update assessing the state of the GTL marketplace was recently released and results were also presented to a group of attendees at the Energy Frontiers International (EFI) forum in Denver, Colorado.  During the EFI forum, rankings for 19 technology providers were presented with Greyrock earning the best ranking as having the most advanced technology.

แอร์ ไชน่า เตรียมให้บริการเที่ยวบินเส้นทางเฉิงตู-ซิดนีย์

         ในการแถลงข่าวที่เมืองเฉิงตูเมื่อวันที่ 25 สิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา แอร์ ไชน่า (Air China) ได้ประกาศเปิดให้บริการเที่ยวบินเส้นทางเฉิงตู-ซิดนีย์ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน 2559 โดยนับเป็นเที่ยวบินที่ 3 ที่บินข้ามทวีปจากเมืองเฉิงตู หลังจากที่ได้เปิดให้บริการเที่ยวบินเฉิงตู-แฟรงค์เฟิร์ต และเฉิงตู-ปารีส ไปก่อนหน้านี้ อีกทั้งยังเป็นเที่ยวบินตรงเที่ยวแรกที่บินระหว่างจีนตะวันตกและโอเชียเนีย เที่ยวบินดังกล่าวจะช่วยให้ผู้คนในเฉิงตู รวมถึงผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองต่างๆของจีนตะวันตก อาทิ ซีอาน คุนหมิง อุรุมชี กุ้ยหยาง หลานโจว และซีหนิง สามารถบินจากเฉิงตูไปยังซีกโลกใต้ได้อย่างสะดวกสบายมากยิ่งขึ้น

         

          ปัจจุบัน จำนวนชาวจีนที่เดินทางไปเที่ยวและพักผ่อนในออสเตรเลียกำลังปรับตัวสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยข้อมูลสถิติจากการท่องเที่ยวออสเตรเลียในเดือนเมษายน 2559 ระบุว่า นักท่องเที่ยวจีนที่เดินทางไปยังออสเตรเลียมีจำนวนถึง 97,200 คน เพิ่มขึ้น 32.6% เมื่อเทียบกับปีที่แล้ว ขณะที่เส้นทางบินเฉิงตู-ออสเตรเลีย มีความถี่ในการบินสูงสุดเป็นอันดับ 4 ของประเทศ เป็นรองแค่ปักกิ่ง เซี่ยงไฮ้ และกว่างโจว

Air China To Launch Chengdu-Sydney Service

          On August 25, 2016, Air China held a press conference in Chengdu, announcing that their Chengdu-Sydney service will begin on November 11, 2016. After the launch of Chengdu-Frankfurt and Chengdu-Paris flights, this route is Air China's third intercontinental flight based in its Chengdu hub, and also its first nonstop service between western China and Oceania. Not only will travelers flying out of Chengdu be able to directly fly to the sunny port city of Sydney, but people from cities all across western China including Xi'an, Kunming, Urumchi, Guiyang, Lanzhou, and Xining can also fly from Chengdu to travel to the southern hemisphere.
         

          Recently, the number of Chinese tourists that have toured and vacationed in Australia has been on the rise. Statistics from Tourism Australia show that in April 2016, the number of Chinese tourists that came to Australia reached 97,200, rising by 32.6% over the previous year. Among cities in China's mainland, the Chengdu-Australia air traffic flow ranks fourth after Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

          Up until now, Air China has launched direct flights from Beijing and Shanghai to Sydney and Melbourne, 30 flights every week between China and Australia. Air China plans to launch its Shenzhen-Melbourne service at the end of 2016 to further solidify its China-Australia airline network and complete and interact with flights from Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu to Australia, providing more diversified options for Chinese passengers from different regions to travel to Australia. In addition, by taking advantage of Star Alliance's strong airline networks, passengers can travel to more destinations through its counterparts in Star Alliance.

          In 2016, Air China has continued to speed up its global airline network layout with Beijing as its pivot point and carry out steady construction on regional aviation hubs. After the launch of its Chengdu-Sydney service, the number of Air China Chengdu-based flights will reach 74, 14 of which are international and regional airlines. The airline network covers Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

The outbound flight takes off from Chengdu at 22:55 local time and arrives at Sydney at 12:35 local time; the inbound flight takes off from Sydney at 14:35 local time and arrives at Chengdu at 22:35 local time.
