i2c and TIS to Launch Agile Payment Processing in Japanese Market

Kickoff Event in Tokyo Focuses on Execution of Multi-Year Strategic Partnership Across Japan and Key Asia Pacific Markets

i2c , a global provider of smarter payments and integrated commerce solutions, today announced that it will co-host a seminar with its strategic partner, TIS Inc., in Tokyo, Japan on September 13, 2016. i2c and TIS will speak to an audience of Japanese card issuers, program managers, fintech providers, and the press about emerging trends, innovation, and how i2c's Agile Processing solution helps financial institutions navigate the changing payments landscape. Agile Processing is a next-generation payment processing model that helps payment issuers take control of their business and execute their product roadmap vision.

The seminar is the latest phase in the companies'  multi-year partnership announced in February 2016, whereby TIS adopted the i2c platform to launch Agile Processing in Japan and key Asia Pacific markets.

TIS is a leading payments solution provider with a long track record of working with banks and issuers in Japan and other Asian markets. The partnership and i2c' Agile Processing platform, gives TIS greater flexibility to work with financial institutions and card issuers to deliver innovative payment products quickly and cost-effectively.

"i2c recognizes the significant opportunity in payments in Japan and the Asia Pacific region, and our strategic relationship with TIS enables us to continue our strong growth in the region by combining resources with a highly respected brand with tremendous reach," said Amir Wain, i2c's founder and CEO. "i2c is committed to the region and to helping banks and credit card issuers to rapidly and easily create, configure, and deploy innovative payment programs that consumers demand without technology and time constraints."
