Chiba Prefecture Mascot "CHI-BA+KUN" to Show Up in Bangkok, Thailand

          - Appearing in Outdoor Advertising and Thai TV Program to Publicize Chiba Prefecture's Charms -


          Chiba Prefecture is publicizing its attractive features by using outdoor advertisements featuring its mascot "CHI-BA+KUN" in central Bangkok from January 16 to February 15, 2018. It will also promote the prefecture through a local TV program and information transmission in Thai via Facebook.

          (A square in front of Siam Paragon Shopping Center and the Asoke intersection)

          (1) Name of the program: "Life is so good - Activity in CHIBA!"
          (2) Content of the program: Pattie Ung Sira, a young and popular actress in Thailand, visits Chiba Prefecture and introduces Chiba's attractive features by going through various experiences such as eating local food, visiting tourist spots, contacting local culture and the like. Her experiences include visiting the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, strolling in the Sawara area of Katori City and interacting with animals at Mother Farm.
