ก่อนหน้านี้ Neusoft Medical Systems ได้ร่วมมือกับ Positron ผู้บุกเบิกเครื่อง PET สำหรับสแกนหัวใจในสหรัฐอเมริกา ปัจจุบัน Neusoft ได้เข้าเป็นเจ้าของ Positron แต่เพียงผู้เดียว และมีการติดตั้งเครื่อง PET กว่า 20 เครื่องแค่ในสหรัฐอเมริกาเพียงประเทศเดียว การผสมผสานเทคโนโลยีและองค์ความรู้ของ Neusoft และ Positron เข้าด้วยกัน ส่งผลให้เครื่องสแกน NeuSight PET/CT ได้รับการพัฒนาจนประสบความสำเร็จ โดยฝ่ายวิจัยและพัฒนาเครื่องสแกน NeuSight ได้เริ่มทำงานตั้งแต่ปี 2555 และมีเครื่องสแกนต้นแบบจำนวน 4 เครื่องที่ผ่านการรับรองระดับโรงงานในปี 2557 จากนั้นในปี 2558 NeuSight PET/CT ได้ผ่านการรับรองมาตรฐาน CE ของยุโรป และได้รับการอนุมัติจาก FDA ของสหรัฐอเมริกา

This CE certified & US FDA approved NeuSight PET/CT combines leading-edge technologies and innovations to create super-fine and low dose exquisite images, which can provide more accurate diagnostic information. Previously, Neusoft Medical Systems collaborated with 'Positron', a cardiac PET pioneer in the USA. Now, Positron is fully owned by Neusoft, with more than 20 PET installations in the USA alone. By combining the technology know-how of Neusoft & Positron, the NeuSight PET/CT was successfully developed. The R&D for the NeuSight scanner started in 2012 with 4 PET/CT prototypes passing factory verification in 2014. In 2015, NeuSight PET/CT passed CE certification and was approved by US FDA.
