ในคืนวันที่ 2 กุมภาพันธ์ ดร.โนเอลและเพื่อนได้ขับรถ GS8 คันเก่าไปตามถนน Scout Limbaga Street ในเมืองเกซอนซิตี ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ ขณะขับผ่านแยก Scout Ybardolaza Street มีรถที่ขับมาด้วยความเร็วสูงพุ่งชนเข้าที่ด้านขวาของตัวรถ แรงกระแทกส่งผลให้รถลอยขึ้นไปในอากาศและตกสู่พื้นห่างออกไป 5 เมตร โดยหงายทับฝั่งซ้ายของตัวรถ

เคราะห์ดีที่ดร.โนเอลและเพื่อนไม่ได้รับบาดเจ็บรุนแรง เนื่องจากถุงลมนิรภัย เข็มขัดนิรภัย และระบบป้องกันการกระแทกด้านข้าง ทำงานร่วมกันจนเป็นโล่ป้องกันผู้โดยสารระหว่างเกิดการกระแทก เหตุการณ์นี้ตอกย้ำความเชื่อมั่นที่เขามีต่อรถของ GAC MOTOR และเจ้าหน้าที่จาก GAC Dream Cars San Fernando ยังให้ความช่วยเหลือหลังเกิดเหตุด้วย ดร.โนเอลได้แสดงความขอบคุณผ่านทางโซเชียลมีเดีย ด้วยการแบ่งปันเรื่องราวอันน่าทึ่งนี้กับครอบครัวและเพื่อนฝูง

สมาคม AFP จับมือสถาบัน Matrix นำเสนอหลักสูตรเตรียมสอบ CTP และ FP&A สำหรับผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพการเงิน

- ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพทางด้านการเงินในเมียนมาสามารถเข้าถึงหลักสูตรการเตรียมสอบใบรับรองชั้นนำได้แล้ว วันนี้

สมาคม Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) และสถาบัน Matrix Institute of Professionals ประกาศความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นทางการเพื่อนำเสนอหลักสูตรการเตรียมสอบสำหรับผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพทางด้านการเงินและการคลังที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมียนมา หลักสูตรดังกล่าวจะช่วยติดอาวุธให้ผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพด้านการเงินมีความรู้และความพร้อมเพื่อสอบผ่านใบรับรอง Certified Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Professional และ Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)

- Financial professionals in Myanmar will now have access to preparation courses for leading certifications

The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and Matrix Institute of Professionals have announced a formal partnership to offer exam preparation courses for treasury and finance professionals based in Myanmar. The courses will equip financial professionals with the tools they need to earn the Certified Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Professional and the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certifications.

The FP&A credential, sponsored by AFP, establishes a set of core competencies for the corporate financial planning and analysis profession and addresses areas that are not necessarily covered by a traditional degree. It is the only credential that is specific to FP&A; it is forward-looking and assesses the ability to see the big picture. Certified FP&A professionals are specially equipped to mitigate uncertainty and see beyond the numbers; they strive to make the numbers work to determine holistic strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting that ties into the goals of the business.

The CTP designation serves as a benchmark of competency in the finance profession and is recognized as the leading credential in corporate treasury worldwide. The CTP credential, also sponsored by AFP, signifies that treasury practitioners have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to effectively execute critical functions related to corporate liquidity, capital and risk management.

By partnering together, AFP and Matrix Institute of Professionals are providing finance and treasury professionals in Myanmar with a new path to earn each of these prestigious designations. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Los Angeles LGBT Center to support LGBTQ+ people experiencing food insecurity

From makeup tutorials to drag shows, and workout demonstrations to users celebrating Pride with parents, more than 20 speakers and performers representing 9 countries including Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, Japan and the US - to name just a few in Blued’s ever-growing global user base, collectively highlighted the event’s four “pillars” - Stay True, Stay Bold, Stay Strong, and Stay Fabulous.

All proceeds from the show will go towards the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Pride Pantry, which, in partnership with local food distributors, provides groceries to the city’s most at-risk LGBTQ+ residents.

“Due to the COVID-19 crisis, many of our clients and community members are experiencing food insecurity which is why the Center created Pride Pantry. MedAlliance Gains CE Mark Approval for Coronary SELUTION SLR(TM) Sirolimus Drug Eluting Balloon

MedAlliance has announced the award of its second CE Mark: SELUTION SLR(TM) 014 PTCA, a novel Sirolimus Drug Eluting Balloon (DEB), for the treatment of coronary arterial disease. This includes indications for both de-novo lesions as well as in-stent restenosis. The approval applies to a broad range of balloon sizes, from 1.5 x 10mm up to 5.0 x 40mm.

This award was supported by one-year results from the SELUTION SLR First-in-Human study, involving 56 patients enrolled across six Asian centres, nearly half (46.6%) of whom had diabetes. 87.6% of patients had de-novo lesions and 12.4% had in-stent restenosis (ISR) lesions.

The primary endpoint of the study, freedom from device and procedure-related mortality through 30 days, was achieved in 100% of patients. There was no MACE (Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events) reported up to 30 days, and only one case occurring up to one year. SELUTION SLR demonstrated similar efficacy and safety to a drug-eluting stent (DES), with only a single patient requiring a TLR (Target Lesion Revascularization). This single TLR case accounted for the low overall MACE rate of 2% at 12 months.

Investigators concluded that the data in this study support the safety, efficacy and optimal performance of SELUTION SLR in coronary applications.

"We are excited to have this new tool in our fight against de-novo coronary stenosis," said Professor Robert Byrne, Director of Cardiology at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin, Ireland and the Chair of Cardiovascular Research at the Royal College of Surgeons, "We look forward to studying this innovative technology head to head against DES. Limus DEB may compliment traditional DES in addressing issues like DES thrombosis, as well as the treatment of small vessels, long diffuse lesions, side branches and bifurcations which remain a challenge for DES."

In February 2020 MedAlliance received CE Mark approval for SELUTION SLR for treatment of peripheral artery disease. The company recently announced completion of its below-the-knee (BTK) First-in-Human study in Singapore. The SAVE Study in Arterial Venus Fistula (AVF) enrolled its first patient in April. The STEP Pedal Arch study is to commence enrollment this quarter. A 500 patient post marketing clinical study will follow as well as the US IDE ISR study which will begin enrolment later this quarter.

MedAlliance is the first DEB company in the world to receive US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Breakthrough Device Designation Status for coronary DEB. SELUTION SLR has achieved this status for a range of indications: treatment of AV-Fistula; coronary in-stent restenosis and peripheral below-the-knee lesions.
