The Japan Management Association (JMA) will hold the 2nd JMA GENBA Management Conference & Award 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 2 for presentations by six Japanese-affiliated companies on their "KAIZEN" ("Improvement") projects.
During the event at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, leaders of manufacturing scenes at the six Japanese-affiliated manufacturers in Thailand will showcase their "KAIZEN" activities, awareness-raising campaigns for employees and human resource development, among other issues.
In Thailand, whose international competitiveness is increasing as a manufacturing hub, many manufacturers are trying to improve their product quality, cost and delivery to further enhance their productivity. In particular, the local subsidiaries of six Japanese companies -- NEC Corp., Daikin Industries, Ltd., Mitsubishi Electric Corp., DENSO Corp., Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Mazda Motor Corp. -- have achieved significant results in their improvement activities.
