Aviation Week's Fleet and MRO Forecast predicts the Southeast Asia market will generate US $5.8 billion in MRO demand in 2018, while the broader Asia-Pacific MRO market is expected to generate US $22.6 billion by 2027, at 4.3% per annum.
Preparing for and capitalizing on this rapid MRO growth will be at the heart of the discussions during MRO East Asia, a 2-day conference, 7-8 March in Hanoi, Vietnam, presented by Aviation Week Network.
As the MRO market value and demand grow in the region, so will the challenges as industry players compete to take advantage of new opportunities. To help delegates meet these challenges, the MRO East Asia two-day agenda will focus on MRO industry analysis, entry into service, fleet development trends, and advanced technologies and IT applications. Regional operators will join global aftermarket suppliers for an analysis of the current market, as well as the key strategies to ensure efficient growth.
"Management of MRO costs has been and will always be a challenge to all airlines around the world," notes Trinh Quoc Cuong, commercial director at Vietstar Aero Engineering, who will speak on the panel discussion 'Analysing Airline Spend and MRO Priorities.' "MRO East Asia will prepare attendees for this market expansion by highlighting the key factors to optimize maintenance costs whilst airlines ensure safety and airworthiness for their fleets."
