SharkNinja and NutriBullet Settle False Advertising Lawsuit

On November 1, 2016, SharkNinja Operating LLC agreed to settle a false advertising lawsuit filed by NutriBullet, LLC., which had been pending in federal court in Los Angeles, California since May 2014.

In the lawsuit, NutriBullet alleged that the 2014 packaging for SharkNinja's Nutri Ninja single-serve blender made false comparisons to the NutriBullet blender in violation of federal and state law. The packaging was changed after Federal Judge Dean Pregerson issued a preliminary injunction.

SharkNinja has agreed to pay $3.5 million to NutriBullet to settle the case, although SharkNinja is not admitting liability.

Both sides are pleased to have resolved this matter without a trial and to have put the litigation behind them.

Trojan Law Offices represented NutriBullet, LLC. and Seyfarth Shaw, LLP represented SharkNinja.
