Offering a rare bird's eye view of sparkling Vivid Sydney, viewers are taken on a journey over Sydney Harbour, through the Cathedral of Light installation in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, to Vivid Sydney's wildest precinct, Taronga Zoo.

Vivid Sydney is owned, managed and produced by Destination NSW, the State Government's tourism and major events agency. The annual festival is a much-see event, attracting international artists and visitors alike.

Destination NSW CEO and Executive Producer of Vivid Sydney, Sandra Chipchase, said: "Vivid Sydney is loved by local and international visitors. Thousands of people have enjoyed this year's highlights including the Cathedral of Light, a 60 metre long light installation featuring more than 75,000 LEDs, and interactive love-o-meter, I LOVE YOU, Vivid Sydney's most romantic installation. At Taronga Zoo, guests adored the 4.3 metre tall, interactive tiger lantern, named Jumilah after the Zoo's female Sumatran Tiger."

Now in its eighth year, the annual Vivid Sydney festival transforms the city skyline into a colourful canvas of light.  Art installations and breath-taking projections created by 150 artists from 23 countries around the world. In 2015 Vivid Sydney attracted 1.7 million visitors.

This year, Vivid Sydney saw more than 90 light installations and projections appear throughout the city, while 190 Vivid Music events occurred and more than 658 speakers appeared as part of 183 Vivid Ideas events.

Vivid Sydney has set a Guinness World Records title with the Dress Circle installation recognised as the world's largest interactive display, and celebrated significant milestones with Taronga Zoo's 100th and the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney's 200th anniversaries.
