Bridgestone Wins Two Prestigious Awards from Thai Beverage “Business Partner Award 2024 (Gold Award)” and “Sustainability Award”, Reflecting the Successful Dedicated Business Partner in Delivering Co-Value and Enhancing Sustainability for Thai Society

Bridgestone Thailand has been recognized by Thai Beverage Plc. for its outstanding performance as a business partner and commitment to sustainability management for mutual business growth alongside Thai Beverage. On the occasion, Mr. Chalermmin Klavikorn, Direct Fleet Section Manager of Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., received the "Business Partner Award 2024 (Gold Award)" while Mr. Attapon Phraephrewngarm, Sustainability Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., received the "Sustainability Award". The awards were presented during the SX Sustainability Expo 2024: TSCN Business Partner Conference 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

The two prestigious awards reflect Bridgestone's dedication to management, symbolizing the trust and recognition received from Thai Beverage. The "Business Partner Award 2024 (Gold Award)" was granted to Bridgestone for its outstanding performance as a business partner, meeting Thai Beverage's criteria in areas including Project development, Commercial, Quality, Delivery, and Sustainability. The "Sustainability Award" was granted to Bridgestone for its continuous collaboration with Thai Beverage to enhance sustainability across the entire value chain. This also includes providing products, services, and solutions that cater to diverse customer and social needs. In addition, Bridgestone has provided Bridgestone Premium Retread tires, a sustainable transportation solution, to Thai Beverage. Bridgestone has also actively participated in various sustainability initiatives and activities organized by Thai Beverage, further strengthening their collaborative efforts toward sustainability.

1. Achieving carbon neutrality: With the short-term plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030, compared to the 2011 baseline, and to produce tires using 40% recycled and renewable materials. In the long-term plan, by 2050, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality and produce tires using 100% recycled and renewable materials. 2.Promoting the study, assessment, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions throughout the entire value chain of Bridgestone Group Companies in Thailand, including manufacturing plants, logistics business, distribution business, retail business, and Bridgestone Premium Retread tire plant. 3. Enhancing the circular economy by installing renewable and clean energy sources at manufacturing plants, as well as implementing activities to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions within our Group Companies.
