OCS Appoints New Group CEO

          - Peter Slator joins OCS Group from Rentokil Initial

OCS Group has confirmed the appointment of Peter Slator as chief executive officer (CEO).

Peter Slator joined OCS Group in December 2015 from Rentokil Initial where he was European & Pacific divisional managing director responsible for hygiene, pest and textile services. He was previously a senior executive at Unilever for 28 years where he held a variety of functional and operational roles, in both the UK and Asia Pacific.

"The board and shareholders are delighted that Peter Slator has joined OCS Group to lead us forward through this next chapter of development. Peter's experience in our sector and our international markets will provide a great head start. He also has a proven ability to create strategic clarity, drive innovation and growth, ensure disciplined execution and deliver results," said Peter Armitage, chairman of OCS Group.

Peter Slator takes over from Chris Cracknell, who led OCS Group for the last 19 years, during which time the company experienced substantial growth both at home and in its international markets.

"I feel privileged to be chosen to lead OCS Group, an organisation with a track record of over 115 years of growth in family ownership, and am excited about the opportunities ahead of us," said Peter Slator.

"OCS has a unique family heritage, strong culture and important values to preserve as we move forward. OCS Group's breadth and diversity of essential facilities management (FM) services and its strong presence in Europe and Asia Pacific territories provide substantial opportunities for further value growth in the future. I look forward to meeting as many of our staff and customers as possible over the coming months," he said.
