- It only took 2 years for Goongbe to become No.1 in Baby & Mom Category, now launching 'Pure & Mild Suncare'
Goongbe, a premium natural skincare brand, is now taking a leap forward. This April, Goongbe became the top brand in the Baby & Mom category at SASA, one of Hong Kong's leading drugstores. Goongbe also announced that it will post large scale advertisements in May, at SASA stores in major commercial areas such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay and Mong Kok in Hong Kong, and at SASA stores in the shopping mall of The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, one of the best tourist attractions in Macau.
Goongbe has established its unique baby skincare brand since launching in Hong Kong market by concluding an exclusive supply agreement with SASA in November 2017. Within 2 years, it's making its presence known throughout Hong Kong and mainland China. Goongbe is expecting another hit with its newly released pure sunscreen, also known as the 'Pure and Mild Suncare Series' products, which are also on display at all branch stores.
Vivian Ko, Vice President of Category Management & Product Development (CMPD) at SASA, said, "Hong Kong consumers have a high degree of trust and brand preference for Goongbe Despite the intense competition in the beauty market. Goongbe has succeeded in attracting Hong Kong consumers with its convincing brand stories, beautiful product designs, and by releasing high-quality products consistently. In the near future, SASA is planning to launch Goongbe's women care products which will satisfy pregnant consumers."
Goongbe continues to enhance its brand image in Korea. In February 2019, Goongbe has officially launched its products at all branch stores of Boots in Korea, and currently has the largest number of stores in duty-free shops among baby skincare brands in Korea.
Meanwhile, Goongbe is also becoming a leading brand in Korea, winning the first prize in the 'Baby Skincare Industry of 2019 National Brand Award', an award for Korea's 'best national brands'.
