Ms Jessie Yang, General Manager of Trip.com Thailand, received the award from the organisers at a gala ceremony that was held yesterday at TRUE Icon Hall (ICONSIAM) in Bangkok.
Now into its 7th year, the Thailand Headlines Person of the Year Awards aim to recognize newsmakers and industry leaders who have made an impact in Thailand during the past year.
Ms Guo Rui, Chairman of Jury and Organizing Committee, Thailand Headlines Person of the Year Awards, said: "Tourism is one of the major contributors to Thailand's economy, and it is a key industry that accounts for about 20 per cent of our gross domestic product.
