The annual list is created from votes from over 200 industry experts in Asia and saw representation from 14 Asian cities in 2018. With a successful turnout of more than 450 top bartenders, influential bar owners, industry figures and international media last year, this year's edition kicks off the three-year partnership between William Reed Business Media and Singapore Tourism Board, and is poised to be bigger and better. Not to be missed are a host of special awards including the Campari One To Watch, the Altos Bartenders' Bartender and the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award.
Bars and cocktail lovers are invited to join Asia's 50 Best Bars' countdown on 9 May from 8:45pm, through a live stream on the 50 Best Bars Facebook.
The Asia's 50 Best Bars festivities include the #50BestTalks event on Friday 10 May. This year's #50BestTalks features an all-female line-up of panellists and provides a platform for women in the bar sector to tackle key topics, trends and bar culture. Asia's 50 Best Bars is also working with Singapore Cocktail Festival to bring the region's best bars and bartenders to the Festival Village from 10 to 12 May.
Asia's 50 Best Bars and The World's 50 Best Bars are part of William Reed Business Media, the company that also owns Asia's 50 Best Restaurants and The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
