Nanning Rank among the Top Ten Happy Cities of China 2015

          Nanning City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has been recently rated as one of the Top Ten Happy Cities in China, revealed at an awarding ceremony in the TV program Everyone's Voice Everyone's Life on China Central Television.


          City Mayor Mr. Zhou Hongbo said, while receiving the award at the ceremony, ten citizen-centered programs including transportation, health care and food safety will be carried on. Zhou also said Nanning City is turning into the Transit Metropolis with the upcoming subway, upgraded public transport network, more new-energy buses and public bicycles, which would make a more convenient transportation environment and a better life for the citizens.

          The survey results reflected generally elevated levels of people's happiness, said Jiang Shiming, chief director of the TV program Everyone's Voice Everyone's Life. Jiang added , Nanning was put on the top ten list for having a higher proportion of respondents who feel happy than the national average through the survey.

          Nanning City's government has been endeavoring to solve the people's livelihood issues including social security, medical care, education, living environment, and efforts have been made to raise the quality level of people's life in which people would feel happier and more hopeful. It is not hard to find great improvement in Nanning economic and social sector while looking at government's completed work list of last year.

          As well as Top Ten Happy City, Nanning City also won other titles like National Ecology Garden City, National Demonstration City of Scientific and Technological Progress, National Model City of Mutual Support for the Civilian and the Arm Forces, National Demonstration City of  E-Commerce, and the residents take a pride to live in such a city.
